The Rt Excellent Errol Walton Barrow was the first Prime Minister of Barbados, and considered to be the Father of Barbados. His legacy has shaped how the political process in Barbados works, and help form a lasting and independent Barbados. This monument, dedicated in January of 2007, honors the man and his life works.
The large bronze monument features the sculpted likeness of Barrow, in the pose as if he were giving a speech to his people.
