Set on the southern end of the Chamberlain Bridge in Bridgetown, the Independence Arch was built in commemoration of the 21st anniversary of Barbados' independence from Great Britain, which took place on November 30, 1966.
Visitors are welcome to walk through the archway and admire the impressive piece of construction which honors he cultural aspects of Barbados is many difference ways.
