Wildey House

The Wildey House of Barbados was built in 1760 and throughout history was mainly a private estate. However, in the late 1990's the house was transferred to the Barbados National Trust, who made the house their headquarters. After painstakingly restoring the house to its original 1760's state, visitors can now explore the house and take a look how life was in the old Great House.


Visitors will be able to explore a variety of rooms furnished with beautiful and authentic mahogany furniture, historic memorabilia, and other items that would have been used back then. In addition, the property can be rented for parties, dinners, and weddings.

The Wildey House has normal business hours of 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday.


While there is no fee for gaining admission into the Great House, donations are happily accepted.
