Beachfront guest cottages feature stylish interiors in driftwood tones and recycled teak. Indulge in the spacious coral-stone showers and luxurious four-poster beds. Guest rooms are designed to catch cooling ocean breezes and are not air-conditioned. Cisterns under each building collect rainwater and efficient solar water heaters supply the showers. Earth-friendly cleaning products prevent water pollution and a Submerged Membrane Bio-Reactor recycles their waste water into clean water for landscape irrigation. All furniture in the cottages, restaurant and decks are, as previously mentioned, recycled teak and the bar stools and lounge furniture is made from reclaimed fishing boats. Disposable ups and takeaway boxes are bio-degradable and made from corn, not plastic.

Solar water heaters supply all the showers and the rooms are fan-cooled rather than air-conditioned. The dive sites of the BVI offer a fascinating diversity of marine life. Explore beautiful coral gardens and famous wrecks in warm, crystal seas year-round. Swim, snorkel, scuba dive, paddleboard, kayak, learn to sail or kick-back and enjoy a captained day-sail.

Ocean Classrooms and Teens4Oceans selected Cooper Island’s healthy marine environment for a three to five year underwater camera project. Two cameras can be found just off the south beach that stream to the Cooper Island Beach Club website. This video data of the Sea Grass bed and fringing coral reef enables students to study a wide variety of species from classrooms worldwide.

The Sea Grape Boutique now has over 900 square feet of designer beachwear, jewelry, unique gifts, local artwork and essential sundries.

Opposite the Coffee Shop on the right wing, guests will find the new Rum Bar featuring rare aged rums, unique house-infusions and classic cocktails made with rums from all over the Caribbean.
