Deadman's Bay

On the north side of Peter Island, this bay beach is popular because of the wonderfully soft sand and clear ocean floor for great swimming. This is a quintessential Caribbean beach with turquoise waters and white sand that dazzles.

Located toward the center of Peter Island, Deadman's Bay is on the East edge of the island, You should consider stopping by even if you aren't staying particularly close by. For a change from the usual crowded beach spots, you should check out Deadman's Bay, a pretty, but less popular part of the coast.

Amenities and Ambiance

Please note that public restrooms are not available, though you may be able to use the facilities at a nearby business. You'll find the waters off-shore to be clear enough for snorkeling, so purchase or rent some gear if you are looking to do some underwater exploration.

Other Beaches

Of course, you'll find plenty of other beaches on Peter Island, so Deadman's Bay is not your only option.

Another location you might enjoy is Nanny Cay, located five miles away. On the other hand, Big Reef Bay could provide a few more possibilities for excitement, and is closer to other tourist hot-spots. You'll find it a couple hundred yards to the east-southeast.

Another sun-drenched spot to consider is The Bight, which is located four miles to the south west.

Perhaps Deadman's Bay is the most convenient coastline for you to visit, but some travelers itch to explore more; in which case there are other beaches (and other outdoor attractions) worth trying.
