Asian Cuisine in the BVI

If you can't get enough Asian cuisine, you might find yourself with an opportunity to satisfy your hunger. Though not terribly plentiful, there are a couple of restaurants in the Virgin Islands where you can try some.

With choices such as the very casual locale of Ginny's to the dives where drinks are just as important to dinner as the grub, there's something for every traveler and every mood.

Use the list below to preview the few Asian places you'll encounter while vacationing nearby. For each restaurant, you can click its name to learn more about its hours, location, and other offerings.

Chez Bamboo

Spanish Town, Virgin Gorda | (284) 495-5752

Chez Bamboo is located toward the western outskirts of Spanish Town. Out-of-towners that want tapas will wholly like eating here during a visit to Spanish Town.

With a menu as eclectic as the restaurant's decor, the French Creole inspired specialties are always crowd pleasers. Steak New Orleans appears on the menu alongside local favorite Osso Bucco.

Road Town, Tortola | (284) 494-2333

Positioned northeast of downtown Road Town, Ginny's is on the same premises as Mooring-Mariner Inn, and is a logical choice worth considering if you are going to explore this town or nearby. Determined not to be a "stale" choice, not only does this place offer Asian delights and particularly coffee, but they're also quite the favorite for sandwiches.

During the coffee shop hours, there are numerous coffee flavors, pastries, sandwiches, and homemade Italian gelato available. For dinner on Friday and Saturday, when Asian is the theme, there is a mixture of Japanese, Thai, and Indian cuisine.
