Known as a top kite-surfing destination in the Caribbean, few people know how much more there is to Cabarete to explore.  Options range from historic and cultural museums to national parks, a zip-line through the forest, a casino, and much more.

Beaches

Cabarete Beach

You'll find a large number of beaches to consider visiting in and around the area. Click on each beach name to get additional information about that part of the coast.

Cabarete Beach: Cabarete Beach scoops into the coast with its golden sands and aqua colored waters. The surf can be rough here, but the onshore atmosphere is thick with excitement and adventure as kite surfers head out to catch some waves.

A second option worth considering is Kite Beach. Dipping slightly into the northern coast, Kite Beach is known for its wavy waters that are aquamarine. The shore, meanwhile, is a dark tan colored sand lined with brush and palm trees.

Bozo Beach: Splitting a bay with Cabarete Beach in the town of Cabarete is Bozo Beach. A school that teaches visitors how to kite board is located just off the beach, and students spend their days practicing at Bozo Beach.
