Cable Beach

This is one of the most popular Bahamanian beaches, and for good reason. It stretches on for over 2 miles and runs along many interesting shops, bars, resorts, and restaurants. If it's isolation and a feeling of remoteness you're after, this might not the place; but with its kid-friendly atmosphere and never-ending water sport options, this is a fantastic spot to take the whole family.

Located near the heart of Cable Beach, this beach is on the North coast of New Providence. You should consider dropping by even if you aren't staying in the immediate vicinity. Eventually, visitors notice that beaches throughout the Bahamas are usually somewhat secluded and quiet, but Cable Beach stands out as a pleasant exception to this rule.

There are a number of ways to access this beach which runs alongside West Bay Street just east of Goodman Bay and Goodman Bay Beach.
