A town that appeals to tourists looking for a less tourist-y destination, Cabrera still has plenty to keep visitors busy.  It is the natural attractions that stand out the most because the surrounding area is such an eco-friendly destination, with a national park, city park, and several beaches for travelers to look forward to.

Beaches

Playa Rio San Juan

You'll discover several beaches to choose from in and around the area. Click on the beach names for more information concerning that particular location.

A nice beach where snorkeling is popular is Orchid Bay Beach. With nothing to see but the rocky cliffs to the side, and the sloping coast behind you, looking out into the shimmering sea and feeling the warm sand is the gift that this tropical paradise has to offer visitors. It is small however, and several groups can easily start making the beach crowded.

A second location that beach-goers can consider is El Calento de Dario Beach. A log dirt road off Highway 5 leads to the sands of El Calento de Dario.

El Breton: El Breton is located off Highway 5 just outside of Cabrera.

Luckily, you'll find quite a few other beaches in and around the area. If you're interested, you can find out more by clicking here.
