A dark, natural beach surrounded by some of the best beaches on Dominica, it is understandable that Hodge's Bay Beach is one of the less popular. However, this makes Hodge's Bay Beach a quiet beach much less crowded than its neighbors.
Situated on the island of Dominica, You should think about stopping by even if you aren't staying nearby. Peace and quiet is what you'll find at the majority of Dominica's beaches, but Hodges Bay Beach offers those same relaxation qualities without sacrificing a fun and social atmosphere.
Free of any development and separated from the road by a colony of trees, this is not a beach you find by accident. Once you do find it though, you will be treated to privacy unlike any beach in the area.
Unfortunately, public restrooms aren't available, so if you're visiting with small children you might want to consider a different location.
Set on Dominica's North coast. Guests might consider staying at the Calibishie Cove, which is perhaps the closest lodging option reachable from Hodges Bay Beach, despite there not being too many other popular spots in the area.

The popularity of this spot on any given day can vary, it depends mainly on when you visit, and how many hotel rooms have been booked nearby. There are not many large hotels nearby, but it can appeal to guests staying at some of the smaller accommodations in the area.
