Natural Attractions in Calliste

Mt. Hartman Dove Sanctuary

Do you hope to spend more of your vacation time under the open sky? You might be happy to find out that the area has a couple of nature preserves nearby.

Mt. Hartman Dove Sanctuary is a nature preserve situated 2.1 mi. East of central Calliste. After an endemic that threatened the local Grenada Dove population, the Mt. Hartman Dove Sancturay was created to protect the bird.

Annandale Waterfalls

Even though most travelers are drawn by the beaches, that isn't the only way to enjoy the natural wonders available. Areas near Calliste some interesting choices, including 6 waterfalls.

You might enjoy a visit to Annandale Waterfalls, which is located in Willis, 6.6 mi. Northeast of central Calliste. This is an easy waterfall to get to. Not far from St. George's, taking the main road East out of the city will take you towards the village where the waterfall is located.

A second option to consider is Concord Waterfall. It is situated 8.3 mi. North-Northeast of central Calliste. Concord Waterfall gives you options. Those feeling adventurous have the wide selection of numerous trails that lead them up mountains and through forests from the South.
