One of only a few courses in Cancun, this elite course features a layout that favors strategy and precision. Narrow fairways, treacherous bunkers, and fair amount of water holes will test players of many different skill levels. Having both a short and a long game is a must.
Visitors are welcome to call or e-mail and schedule a tee-time directly with the golf course, though they should note that the course is closed on Mondays. Having been built in 2013, golfers playing this course should find freshly built, modern facilities. The lay of the land, hole placement, and sand traps reflect the design of Tom Weiskopf, the lead architect of Puerto Cancun Golf Course. It has a course rating of 73.4, and its 18 holes stretch out a total of 7241 yards.
The course is nestled in between the Coldwell Banker Domus Las Olas Marina and the highly developed city of Cancun. Still, the course is set amid a lush patch of coastal forest. Because it wraps itself around the marina, water plays a factor on a number of holes. Views of the ocean and the surrounding jungle are nothing short of breathtaking at times. Holes 13 and 14 both have spectacular views of the sea, and in fact, 14 is the only hole in Cancun and the Riviera Maya that you will see the Caribbean on the left side fromt eh trees all he way to the green -- from which you are then able to see Isla Mujeres.
The course features 18-holes at a Par 72 on 7,241 yards of playing space. The slope for men is 135, 128, and 124; for women it is 131 and 120. Guests staying in Cancun will find that transportation is included for more than two players in the morning and more than three players at twilight rate (after 1:30 p.m.). There will be special rates for transportation if they are staying outside Cancun.
