Oddly, these ruins are located in the middle of the busiest area of Cancun. Yet the Ruinas del Rey are here, and are able to maintain a peaceful aurora. Visitors can leisurely explore the ruins as well as feed the iguanas that now inhabit it.

Ruinas del Rey is located in Cancun Beach Hotel Zone, a neighborhood in the vicinity of Cancun; it's nine miles (14 and a half kilometers) to the southeast of Cancun.
These ruins are located within the Hotel Zone in Cancun, and some guests may be able to simply cross the street from their hotel. For those not so lucky, the ruins are located just across from Playa Delfines.
Lively travelers might likely be attracted by the area because of the ample availability of open-air options. Historic site guests interested in testing their skills on the golf course will surely enjoy heading over to nearby Iberostar Cancun Golf Course. If you aren't a golfer, think about heading over to Playa Delfines, the closest beach. Still, an additional selection of beach and golf options are available in the vicinity. Since guests will also be near the option of at least one indoor site, the surrounding area will be a fun region of Cancun to investigate. One of the closest places of interest near Ruinas del Rey is Punta Nizuc National Park, which you can find a short distance away.
