Cane Garden Bay is very close to Road Town, so touring the city could be a fun side-trip after visiting the beach. Not far away you'll find Road Town, a city which is not an overly urbanized area, but still has its fair share of things to do. From the shore, Road Town is a fairly short distance away, roughly two and a half miles (four kilometers).

If the active mood at Cane Garden Bay is what you're looking for, consider also visiting Brewers Bay Beach, another destination with a good amount of excitement. It is located one and a quarter miles to the north-northeast. Brewer's Bay beach on the Ocean Coast is perfect for nature lovers who want to take in the scenery, unless it is high season when all the cruise ships drop off hoards of tourists on its shores.
