Les Tantes

To the north of Grenada is the tiny island of Les Tantes. This is one of the uninhabited islands in the chain and is frequented by sailors looking for quiet and seclusion.

Situated on the island of Les Tantes, 2.2 miles east of Ronde Island, this beach is on the South West coast of the island. Even if you aren't staying near this location, you might want for some fun in the sun. If you're curious, Hillsborough is 13 and a half miles (21 and a half kilometers) to the northeast. Les Tantes is a distinguishable relaxation spot because it's one of the best spots for escaping the hustle of the Caribbean's urban areas. Many of the other beaches in the Caribbean may be just as refreshing as Les Tantes, but tend to be busier since they're located by some of the most popular tourist areas in town.

How to Access The Beach

Les Tantes is only accessible via boat.

Amenities and Ambiance

The coast of Les Tantes ranges from rocky to tan and sandy, but no matter where you go, you'll find the shore backed by thick forestry. Water color ranges from deep navy to aquamarine.

Unfortunately, public restrooms aren't available, though you may be able to use the facilities at a nearby business. You will find the water here is clear and good for snorkeling, so bring your gear if you want to do some underwater exploration.

If you usually go for shores which offer a serene environment, then maybe head on over to Les Tantes; it's found within a more rural part of the region.
