Natural Attractions on Carriacou

From a hill center that slopes towards the shore and becomes seven miles of white sands on each side, Carriacou is the largest island in Grenadines.  Tourists generally come to relax and spend their days outside exploring.  Sites include natural harbors, botanical gardens, and colorful coral reefs.

Sandy Island Marine Park is a popular nature preserve found within western Carriacou. Sandy Island Marine Park is an island that remains untouched by human hands, and the crystal clear waters that surround it are a favorite amongst snorkelers.

Travelers hoping to locate a another great natural attraction will be interested in seeing choices like White Island Marine Park. White Island Marine Park draws snorkelers to the area with its crystal clear waters and bountiful marine life. A mountain to one side makes it an even more attractive locale.

Botanical Gardens

Guests can enjoy one of the botanical gardens on Carriacou.

If you'd like to see some beautiful tropical vegetation, consider visiting Anglican Rectory Garden, which is located in Hillsborough, in central Carriacou. Guests visiting the Anglican Rectory Garden will be able to take a look at the cacti that are maintained here. While there is not much else other than a long history, tourist have made the site quite popular.
