This old well is one of the few remaining fully functional stone wells in existence, especially ones built by colonial forces. While it may not seem much now, this well would have been crucial in the settling of the area, and likely insured the success of the nearby plantation for some time.
There are no amenities at the site, and is definitely a site for history appreciation only.
You may enjoy staying on Carriacou if you plan on visiting Ningo Well, as those visiting this region of Grenada will have easy site access for the duration of their trip. While the region isn't necessarily a tourism capital, you'll still find a handful of hotel booking options to pick from.
