Amenities and Ambiance

Tyrrel Bay is one of the more beautiful bays on Grenada, with its sweeping horseshoe shaped coastline powdered with white sands and harboring topaz colored waters. The shore is backed by a minimal amount of greenery which protects the beach from the highway.

Ask your hotel about picnic lunches, as some hotels offer to pack snacks for their guests' day trips. Or, on your way to the beach you could grab some carry-out from a casual dining spot.

Lots of visitors here find that the on-site snack bar is just fine for lunch. If available, you could also purchase food from one of the local vendors who operate at or near this spot.

Tyrrel Bay does have public restrooms for your convenience. Fortunately, the water here is clear and good for snorkeling, so purchase or rent some gear if you've been hoping to get in some underwater exploration.
