This and the "Teeth of the Dog" course are the gems of the Casa de Campo, which is consistently named as one the top golf resorts in the Caribbean. Picturesqueness and challenging golf come together wonderfully here, where you'll be golfing alongside both water and the Caribbean's highest mountains. Fairways are gently rolling and are lined by intimidating rough and sand traps.
Non-guests can golf for most of the year, except for November and the first three weeks of December. Resort guests can golf year-round. Tourists can plan on this being a modern, fairly new golf course. It opened in 2005. The layout, difficulty of the holes, and sand traps all came from the imagination of Pete Dye, the lead architect of Casa De Campo Resort Dye Fore. It has earned a course rating of 69.3, and it affords visitors the chance to enjoy 27 distinct holes.
The course is set alongside the peaceful, winding Chavon River, which empties into the Caribbean Sea off the southern coast. The beautiful surroundings will be seen in full from the higher elevation holes. Seven holes are cliff-side, 300 feet above the river, and offer breathtaking, panoramic views.

Casa De Campo Resort Dye Fore accepts all major credit cards.
Tee times should be made in advance, especially during peak winter months.
If putting isn't your strong suit, plan to arrive a little before you're scheduled to tee off to have some practice time. The great thing is that the golf course does have a practice putting green for patrons to use to their advantage. Novices or people who have been playing for years who are taking the time to practice their swing could spend some time at the driving range that is available here.
