Casa De Campo Resort Links

The inland Links course doesn't get quite the attention as the other courses on the property (the Dye Fore course or the Teeth of the Dog), but it still has plenty to offer. Newly renovated and tougher than ever, the course features a number of lagoons and lakes, with water coming into play on five holes. The course can be quite demanding, especially for the unprepared.

Course Description

This golf course has become a classic spot to play some holes, having been founded in 1975. Pete Dye designed this course. It has been given a course rating of 66.5, and it gives visiting golfers the chance to play a complete 18 holes.

The course is laid out on a moderately hilly tract of land, and it winds through the resort buildings of Casa De Campo. The fairways are fairly straight, and they vary in width. Bahia and Guinea grass make up the rough, and intimidating sand traps are a prominent feature.

Amenities

The great thing is that the golf course does have a practice putting green for guests to use to their advantage. Learning beginners or even professionals who are fine tuning their swing can spend some time at the driving range that is available here.

What's Nearby

Casa De Campo Resort Links is in the same region as La Romana, the most close by urban area, so walking the city is a definite option.

If you are looking for a variety of golfing options, there are three other golfing options very close. Well- known courses in the area include Casa De Campo Resort Dye Fore, Casa De Campo Resort Teeth of the Dog, and La Romana Country Club. All of which are within three miles and the closest one of the bunch, Casa De Campo Resort Teeth of the Dog, is only a small interval away from the main course, so you can plan a quick trip for some rounds on the links.

The number of other vacationers sharing the green can vary widely ——it depends on several things: the season, the weather, even how many of the nearby hotel rooms have been booked. You'll find an abundance of accommodations nearby, which means you can expect to encounter a somewhat large number of additional traveling guests golfing and taking in the sites alongside you.
