The course was ranked as the number one course in the Caribbean by Golf Magazine. Serious golfers and amateurs alike flock to here to play this picturesque spot. You'll find a tricky dog-leg and an abundance of obstacles. Winds can be stiff, especially on the seven coastal holes, and club selections will be difficult throughout.
The course is open year-round to resort guests. This golf course has made itself a well-established spot to hit a round of golf, founded in 1971. Pete Dye designed the golf course. It has earned a course rating of 69.5, and it affords golfers the chance to play a complete 18 holes. Also be aware that there is a pro, Gilles Gagnon, available on-site ready to help first-timers practice their swing or offer more advanced help for competent golfers.
On the scenic southern coast of the Dominican Republic, this course winds in part past the resort buildings of the Casa De Campo, and seven of its holes run their whole length alongside the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea. The course is the most challenging offered at the Resort, beginning in the towering inland bluffs before making its way to the ocean for seven of the most spectacular holes you'll find.

Resort guests will pay $135 from April through October, and will pay $185 during the winter months. Prices do not include tax (16%), but they do include a cart rental and range balls. Caddies are $25 per caddie per round. Casa De Campo Resort Teeth of the Dog accepts major credit cards.
Unlike the other course at the resort, the Teeth of the Dog can only be played by guests of the resort. One caddie per group is mandatory on this course, but not on the Dye Fore or the Links.
If you need some more time to work on your putting, plan to arrive a little before you're scheduled to tee off to have some practice time. The great thing is that the course does house a putting green for golfers to practice on. Novices or even professionals who are practicing their swing can make use of the driving range that is found here.

All of which are within three miles and the closest of the bunch, Casa De Campo Resort Links, is just a quick trip off from the main golf course, so you can make heading over for some rounds on the links.
