Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception

As the seat of the Archbishop on Saint Lucia, this cathedral has been a center of St. Lucian cultural life. However, just as the church as affected the people, walk inside and gaze upon the walls' and ceiling's decoration and see how the people have affected the church as well.

This grand cathedral may look like a normal stone cathedral from the outside, but on the inside the high walls and ceiling are painted in reds, oranges, greens, yellows, and purples, creating a unique mix of a grandiose church with the good spirit of the Caribbean life style.
