There are three instructors on site ready to train you in the art of scuba diving. PADI certification courses along with introductory courses and specialty learning experiences are all available here. For those who have earned their certification, there are a collection of dive trips hosted by one of seven dive masters. These include full day dives to Turneffe, the Blue Hole, and the Lighthouse Reef as well as half day dives to Esmeralda, Spanish Bay, St. George's Caye, and the impressive Caye Caulker Marine Reserve.
There are four different boats in Frenchie's fleet, each of which is fiberglass and fully equipped with safety and communication equipment. Divemax is a 26 foot boat used for training and local dives, Reef Shark I and II are 29 footers with soft canopies to protect from the sun. They are typically used for reef dives. Finally, Reef Shark III is 38 feet long with a hard cover for shade, and specializes in the longer sails and dives.
