Traveling to Cayey by Airplane

A short drive from the international airport will find you enjoying the mountainous scenery of Cayey

About an hour away from Cayey is the island's major international airport, and one of the top airports in the region.  This makes it easy to plan a getaway in this quiet destination, plus allows travelers to take in the breathtaking landscape as they make the drive from the San Juan area to their local accommodations.

Located just outside of Carolina in Isla Verde, the Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) is often referred to as the San Juan Airport thanks to its location in the greater San Juan Area.  The airport is one of the busiest in the region and welcomes over eight million passengers a year. This is great news for tourists headed to Cayey, because while the airport can be congested by people at times, it means that finding a flight to Marin International is much easier than planning to visit a more remote destination.
