Brac Scuba Shack

Owned and operated by three locals with 15 years of experience diving around the island, Brac Scuba Shack came into being when the need for a scuba operation that focused on my personalized service arose. The facility never takes out more than 10 divers at a time, so guests are never made to feel like cattle herded together on a small boat.

Offerings and Cost

This facility heads out for dive excursions twice a day; once in the morning, and once in the afternoon. Night dives are also available upon request. The team handles everything, from training and certification, to instruction on the boat, and the cleaning and maintenance of your equipment after the dive is over.

They offer 2-tank morning dives and 1-tank afternoon dives. You can also book a private charter or certification course. Their shop provides the option to rent an array of equipment, including nitrox and shore diving.

Shallow dives also come with option for snorkelers to join.

Start your time with Brac Scuba Shack by signing up for various training and certification programs. The Discover Scuba course is the most basic option, costing just $175. The next level up is Open Water Certification, a hands on course that costs $475.

1-Tank Dives cost $65 and a 2-Tank costs $90. The 2-tank dive costs $245 for three days, $320 for four days, $400 for five days, and $465 for six days. The Night Dive costs $75.

Equipment rentals and private charters are also available. All prices are in USD.

What to Expect

There are two boats in the Brac Scuba Shack fleet. The first is DiveOcean, a 36 foot Newton custom ie boat with a 500 horsepower Cummins QSC 8. engine. Big Blue is the other vessel, a 30 foot center console with twin 300 horsepower outboard engines. Each is fully equipped with all of your dive and safety needs.
