Cat Head Bay Beach

A rocky coastline with choppy waters, this is not the most inviting beach for swimming or water sports. It's an isolated spot, you'll likely be the only one on this beach if you choose to visit.

Situated near the center of the island of Cayman Brac, 1.7 miles south of Creek, Cat Head Bay Beach is on the East coast of the island, You should think about stopping by regardless of whether you are staying in the vicinity. Even active vacationers with jam-packed itineraries will discover advantages to finding a beach that isn't lined with high-rise hotels; relatively untouched parts of the coast like Cat Head Bay Beach might not be typical "beach scenes", but are nice and private.

How to Access The Beach

This beach is on the southeast side of the island, a very quiet part of Cayman Brac. The coastal road of the island runs alongside this beach.

Amenities and Ambiance

The sand is tan and littered with rocks, but the beach is long and visually stunning, good for a stroll or a picnic. The water gets deep just offshore and the current can be strong.

Please note that public restrooms are not available, so those of you traveling with small children may want to consider another spot.

Cat Head Bay Beach offers an idyllic and peaceful getaway, in part because the surrounding region is positioned apart from more urban areas.
