The largest and fastest growing town on Tobago, Chaguanas has also been expanding in the world of tourism in recent years as well thanks to the number of attraction that are available for tourists to take advantage.  Whether you find interest in learning about local culture through such sites as the National Museum, or you prefer to spend your days with regional flora and fauna at a national park, there are numerous ways to keep every day of your getaway packed with activity.

A common landmark for vacationers is Angostura Museum and Barcant Butterfly Collection. It is situated at House of Angostura and located 9.3 mi. North-Northwest of central Chaguanas. Owned and staffed by the Central Bank, this museum will take visitors on a journey across the world and time to see how money, its use, and the way it is made and stored has changed over the years. At this time, the museum is closed for a complete upgrade and renovation, with the expectation that they will reopen in September of 2015.
