Bath Hotel Historic

Built it 1778, the Bath Hotel is considered to be the first tourist hotel on Nevis and in the Caribbean. Foreshadowing the era to come, the hotel and spa welcomed visitors to relax in their spas and to enjoy the tropical island. Many famous people would stay here including princes, dukes, generals, and other influential men and women.


Today, the hotel is used for various government purposed, and the pools are free to use. The water is full of volcanic salts, and very therapeutic. In addition, guests can walk the grounds of the old hotel, though since governmental offices are inside, guests are generally kept outside.
