Blackbeard's Castle

Skytsborg Historical Park, also known as Blackbeard's Castle, is one of five National Historic Landmarks in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Originally a military installation built in 1679 by the Danes, guests can explore the castle's private hide outs, gardens, and archeological sites.

Operating Hours

The castle is open to visitors on Tuesday and Wednesdays, from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm during the high season (October through May).

Payment

Admission into the castle is $14 for adults and $5 for children 12 years old and younger.
