Come explore the fascinating world of butterflies at the Butterfly Garden. Located at the end of the Havensight cruise ship dock, this is a great relaxing place to visit where you see exotic species of butterflies from around the world including South America, Asia and Africa. You’ll learn about these amazing creatures which brings delight to children when they get such an interactive experience. If you just want to take pictures of these natural beauties you are welcome to do that as well.

As you walk through the garden, you will be accompanied by a knowledgeable tour guide that will give you interesting, fun facts about butterflies and answer any questions that you may have.
Butterfly Garden is located along the southern outskirts of Charlotte Amalie.
When you get into Havensight Mall, go towards the dock and turn left. Then follow the signs towards the end of the dock. There is free parking available just opposite the Butterfly Garden, if you’re driving down.
There are numerous eateries to select from in the region nearby the gardens. The most nearby restaurant to Butterfly Garden is The Delly Deck, which has a menu full of American food. The eatery is a brief ways off, but out of the way enough that you may want to make advance plans for taking advantage of some type of transportation to visit there. and are some of the other nearby lunch and dinner possibilities where guests can give your taste buds a treat and enjoy the Virgin Islands scene.
Vacationers with an interest in seeing another set of botanical gardens, visit Botanical Gardens at Blackbeard's Castle, which is found a mile to the north-northwest of this attraction. There are other attractions in the area, including Paradise Point Sky-Tram, which is a half mile away Charlotte Amalie. Also consider making the trip to Garrison House, which is another attraction nearby.

The Butterfly Garden and Gift Shop is open when there are cruise ships docked at Havensight from 8:30am until 4:00pm. Feel free to call or email before planning your visit.
Admission costs $12 (USD) for adults and $6(USD) for children four to twelve years old , while children three and under are free. This admission gives you access to both the Exotic species garden exhibit and botanical garden with various local plants. If you are staying on St. Thomas for a few days, you get a return pass to revisit the garden while you’re on the island with no added charge. Don’t forget to ask for any coupons, Combo passes or memberships they may have for other interesting attractions on the islands.
