Once upon a time, there was no ferry service connecting the U.S. and British Virgin Islands. That all changed when the Road Island Fast Ferry came into being. Now, there are non-stop dailing services between St. Thomas and Tortola.

Road Town Fast Ferry offers fast, inexpensive, and comfortable transport from Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas to Road Town, Tortola. This service prides itself on saving you money by taking you right to the center of tourism rather than West End like other ferry services do. As an added bonus, they take you directly to the customs office on their dock in Charlotte Amalie rather than having to detour to St. John's.

Road Town Fast Ferry sails between these two islands continuously throughout the day at beginning at 7:00 a.m. Monday through Saturday and 9:00 a.m. on Sunday. The trip lasts 50 minutes.
