Given as a gift from the United States Federal Government in 1950 in honor of freedom and democratic tradition, this replica of Philadelphia's famous Liberty Bell stands as park of the Virgin Island's greater memorial to emancipation and freedom.
This Liberty is an exact replica of its parent in Philadelphia. Not only is it the same size and shape, it also make the same sound when rung, and it is rung on special patriotic occasions.
Liberty Bell is located in downtown Charlotte Amalie, ensuring those visiting this area of the Virgin Islands will be excited to have easy access to this historic attraction for the duration of their trip.
