The Romans and Greeks weren't the only column builders. Part of the greater Chichen Itza ruins, these columns give insight into the kind of complicated structures completed by the Mayas.
The Colonnades structure is made up of over five hundred columns that form an "L" shape. In total it takes over 3500 stones to make this complex, and that is not even including the roof that once stood on top of the columns.

With just a small number of accommodations around the neighborhood surrounding this historical site, a small amount of tourist traffic might be bargained on.
