A landmark that often intrigues visitors is Chichen Itza. It is found within the heart of Chichen Itza. One of the Seven Wonders of the World as of 2007, Chichen Itza is perhaps the most popular and well-known Maya ruin in the Mexican Caribbean. The fact that it is so well known today is not surprising, considering in its heyday it was one of the most important religious and political centers of the culture.

If you are looking to do more sight-seeing, visit El Caracol. It can be found at Chichen Itza and found within Chichen Itza. The park is open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
