Filled with hieroglyphs stretching across the walls, the Red House contains historical records that mention to rulers as far back at 869 AD, which is the earliest date found so far in the ruin complex.

Luckily, the Red House is one of the best preserved buildings on site, and visitors will be able to clearly see the hieroglyphs inside. Just know that you cannot not climb many of the ruins.

Red House is located in Chichen Itza, meaning those visiting this part of Cancun and the Mexican Caribbean will be pleased to have easy access to this historic attraction during their time there.
