Originally the Dutch Reformed Church on St. Croix, this building was built in 1744 and sold to the Lutherans in 1831, who made this their main church on the island. Today, the church is known for being one of the oldest Lutheran Churches in U.S. territory.
Guests are welcome to come view the Dutch architecture, and peek in the windows at the Lutheran Church. Inside, you will see memorial plaques and artifacts from Denmark.
Set just off of Main Street, the Lutheran Church features a breathtaking antique chandelier and sweeping stairway that is reminiscent of Georgian-style architecture.
