The ferry leaves from Salt Cay at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, and returns from Grand Turk at 2:30 on Tuesday and Friday, but at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday. This schedule means that will you can plan a day trip from Salt Cay to Grand Turk, to travel from Grand Turk to Salt Cay you will have to make arrangements to stay for at least one night.
