Although one of the newest dive centers on Cozumel, Babieca has already made a name for itself as a group of knowledgeable dive professionals that offer some of the most comprehensive training and serve as pleasant dive guides. Additionally, they are just a five minute walk from the pier, making them easily accessible by cruisers.
In order to accommodate every level of diver and style of learning, Babieca offers training in PADI, NAUI, TDI, and NACD.
The hook is a $71 to $127(USD) Introduction to Diving course which includes a one or two tank open water dive. From there, you'll want to continue your training with PADI Open water for $430 (or the referral course for almost half the price), Adventure in Diving for $383, Rescue Diver for $429, Dive Master for $700, and a number of other specialty courses for between $150 and $300(USD).
When you're ready to dive, you can make a selection from their list of package regarding how many tanks you'll use during your stay up to $373(USD) for a package that includes two tanks per day for five days plus one night dive. A regular one tank dive is $59 and a two tank dive is $87(USD).
Each of Babieca's boats accommodate no more than eight divers at a time and come set and ready to dive with all of the important dive and safety equipment, plus snacks and drinks.
