Known for their personalized service and high-tech equipment, this dive center is run by Jorge Marin. Previous customers have raved about his excellent customer service and knowledge of the sport.

Offerings and Cost

Thanks to the fact that Cozumel is home to some of the best drift dive conditions in the world, all of the excursions hosted by this facility are drift dives. That being said, this location offers a full selection of PADI courses for beginners to instructor-level specialties and daily one and two tank dives offering what is regarded as some of the best service around.

2-tank dives cost $85 and 3-tank dives cost $120. Night dives cost $50 and the Twilight dive costs $105. You can rent a mask and fins for snorkeling at just $10. All other equipment rental is just $10 as well, including dive computers, regulators, and wet suits. Underwater lights are $12, however.

What to Expect

Cozumel Marine World follows a specific dive procedure in which all divers descent together from surface to the bottom. From there you can work on your buoyancy and explore as long as you continue to check in with your instructor and buddy. When your pressure gauge reaches 1000 psi, it is time to let your instructor know and begin your ascent. Decompression dives are not allowed.
