This spa specializes in fish therapy. This unique spa treatment, which rapidly growing in popularity, makes almost everyone laugh and relax. American owned and operated, the spa sets an extremely high standard for hygiene -- the water is 100% sterilized every 5-7 minutes using UV lights in each individual tank to kill any bacteria.
Fish therapy feels like little vibrations or bubbles in a foot spa. The fish are toothless carp native to the Middle East, that are treated like pets. After a few minutes of ticklish fun, the fish provide a unique form of reflexology on the feet while everyone becomes more and more relaxed. Appointments can be made by email or by phone.
For 15 minutes with your feet being treated by fish, the cost is just $20 (USD). For 30 minutes the cost is $30, 45 minutes is $40, and one hour is $50 (USD). Treatments generally include a souvenir video and a foot rub/exfoliation treatment which leaves clients with a feeling of well being and wonderfully soft feet.
The spa is closed on Sundays, but is open from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. throughout the rest of the week.

If you're wondering, San Miguel is nine miles (14 kilometers) to the northeast.
A taxi is the easiest way to reach the spa -- it costs about $16 (U.S.) each way for up to 4 passengers.
Given its location, one of the nice possibilities after spending an afternoon relaxing at the spa is sharing a meal at one of the nearby restaurants. El Caribeño, which serves Mexican fare, is one of the closest places where you can eat.
