Playa Mia

Those visiting Playa Mia will never be at a loss for things to do. This popular stretch of beach was known as Playa Del Sol until a legal dispute led the proprietors to change the name. It offers a wide selection of diversions, including jet skiing, parasailing, water toy rentals, and plenty of land activities.
Families enjoy visiting because it's home to both a playground and mini-zoo, which are big hits with younger beachgoers. The rest of the family will enjoy freshwater pools, ping pong, wall climbing, and other amusements.

Located on the island of Cozumel, You should consider stopping by even if you are not staying in the vicinity. Playa Mia is a distinguishable relaxation spot because it's the ideal location for escaping over-crowded hangouts in the town proper. Most other beaches in Cancun and the Mexican Caribbean may be just as breezy and refreshing, but tend to be more crowded since they're near some of the most popular hotels.

How to Access The Beach

Ferries are able to conveniently shuttle visitors back and forth from the island, but be aware: taking advantage of all that Playa Mia has to offer will cost beach patrons an entrance fee.

Amenities and Ambiance

Playa Mia's white sands and bright blue waters are dazzling and many guests find themselves unable to resist this sumptuous invitation to bask in the sun.

The concession stand at this spot is also an option. If available, you could also get lunch from one of the mobile vendors who are typically found at this location.
