Please note that public restrooms are not available, but you may be able to find facilities at a nearby business. Due to the rough terrain of Playa Xhanan beach, the majority of beachgoers found here are locals with four-wheel drive vehicles or tourists who have rented ATVs.
If you find that you choose shores that bring guests a tranquil place to escape, then maybe head on over to Playa Xhanan; it is hidden away in a less urbanized area of the region.
Playa Xhanan is on the North East coast of Cozumel; it will be near other attractions like Cozumel Country Club, which is not too far from this coast, and can be reached in a taxi.

It may take some traveling to get there, but Playa del Carmen, just about 22 miles away, is the closest city. though you may find some small-scale towns nearer to the beach.
The mood here——social and lively, or virtually empty—— will depend on many factors, including the capacity of nearby hotels.
Don't anticipate finding any of Cancun and the Mexican Caribbean's popular hotels lining this beach, though if you're hoping to evade hoards of travelers, the shortage of places to stay will be a pleasant sight.
You might not find any places to eat in the immediate surroundings of this shore, so you may choose to pack a lunch if you want to fully enjoy your time spent at the beach.
Of course, you'll find plenty of other beaches on Cozumel, and Playa Xhanan is just one option.
You might also enjoy Sunset Beach, another place which provides plenty of quietude and peace. However, if that's not exactly what you're looking for, Playa Bonita could provide a little more opportunity for excitement, and isn't far from other popular destinations. It's found four miles to the south-southwest.
You may also enjoy Santa Pilar, located 11 and a half miles to the west. Although there is little privacy on the Santa Pilar beach, vacationers staying at nearby hotels and resorts will love the convenient location of these shores.
You may find that Playa Xhanan is a great fit for your vacation, but maybe you want to see more; if so, there are other beaches and natural attractions in Cancun and the Mexican Caribbean you might like.
