Those that aren't confident in their swimming abilities should think twice about this beach, particularly due to the dangerous riptides.

Located on the northeastern edge of the island of Cozumel, You might think about stopping by regardless of whether you're staying in the vicinity. Even active vacationers with jam-packed itineraries will discover advantages to finding a beach that isn't crowded into a major metropolitan area; relatively untouched parts of the coast like Playa Xhanan are perfect when you need a break from the typical tourist scene.

Amenities and Ambiance

The snack bar here is the ultimate convenience if you need a cold drink, or something to hold you over until dinner. If available, you could also order some food from one of the mobile vendors who typically operate along this coastline.
