With a festive staff, live music, plenty of drinks, and tasty food, the Barefoot Cowboy is a perfect place to have a meal while keeping the vacation spirit alive. Whether you come for the barbecue, the music, or the cold drinks, you are sure to leave the Barefoot Cowboy happy.


The Barefoot Cowboy has plenty of tasty food that fits any appetite. On the large side you will find a pulled pork and brisket meal (which includes a shot of tequila) and pulled pork sandwiches, while on the smaller side you can find tacos and pulled pork sliders.

While at the Barefoot Cowboy, one thing to try is the Adult Snow Cones that are no different than regular snow cones, except that instead of syrup flavoring, they use flavored vodka and rum; a tasty treat to cool off with.

The Barefoot Cowboy is a popular bar and grill that happens to specialize in Tex-Mex cuisine. The formality of the menu and service to expect from this restaurant is very casual. When's the best time to come? They're open for both dinner and lunch, so make time to stop by; you could find a new favorite food.


The Barefoot Cowboy is an open air restaurant set right on the beach, that allows guests to dine out in the sand and under the palm trees.


Located in the heart of downtown Cruz Bay, It is on Upstairs at The Lumberyard, North Shore Rd.

Vacationers can merge their dining experience with some local sightseeing options by patronizing one of the region's many close-by attractions, such as Franklin Powell Park.

Something else to see during your time in this area is Cruz Bay Beach, a beach where guests can work on their tans and work up their appetites.

Nearby Restaurants

If you and your group are trying to find another restaurant in the area with similar kinds of food and/or similar prices, there are several nearby places to choose from, including Driftwood David's. It's found less than a hundred yards from The Barefoot Cowboy.

But then again, if you're in the mood for something different, this section of St. John has an excellent range of restaurants choices that will be sure to suit the tastes of nearly any kind of diner. For example, you can try Caribbean eats at Hercules Pate Delight, which is less than a hundred yards west.

Hours and Other Info

While most of the entrees are between $11 and $20, they do have a few snacks that will cost around $6 to $8. Drinks range from $3 to $8.

The Barefoot Cowboy is open daily from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.
