Culebra National Wildlife Refuge's Luis Pena Cay

Taking up Luis Pena Cay, this wildlife refuge serves as a safe haven for many of Puerto Rico's native animal and plant life. If you are feeling adventurous you can explore the reserve.

Location

Located on the western side of the island of Isla de Culebra, Culebra National Wildlife Refuge's Luis Pena Cay welcomes residents and vacationers rooming on this part of the island. Whether or not you are staying in this location, you should consider stopping by to enjoy a great time. It is west of Culebra Pueblo.

The refuge can only be reached via boat or kayak.

After spending some time at the nature preserve you find your stomach stomach growling, there's any easy solution -- you will find a plentiful supply of dining options within traveling distance.
