Playa Carlos Rosario is accessible through a chain-link fence in the back left had corner of the Flamenco Beach Parking lot. Simply follow the dirt trail that begins at the gate for about one mile.
Carlos Rosario is more natural looking than the more well-visited beaches on Culebra, with thorns bushes lining the back of the beach, and rocks and ocean debris in the sand. The water, though, is cool, calm, and clear.
Keep in mind that restrooms won't be found on-site, though you may be able to use the facilities at a nearby business. Fortunately, the water here is clear enough for snorkeling, so grab your equipment if you want to do some underwater exploration.
If you usually favor sunny days that offer a relaxing experience, then you should enjoy Playa Carlos Rosario; it is hidden away within a less urban area of Isla de Culebra.
You'll find this beach on the West coast of Isla de Culebra. It is near some interesting sites like Flemenco Tank, which is situated a quarter mile to the east-southeast, and it is one of the local attractions.
If you're interested in combining a little culture with your trip to the beach, you should plan a trip to Culebra Museum. This museum is located a short cab ride away, and might make a nice break from the midday sun.
