Located just off the coast of Culebra and in a cove, Playa Luis Pena is well protected from the rough waters that can be in the are, making it a great beach for swimming and playing in the water. Land landlubbers can also explore the natural island, as much of it is untouched. Just be care, while it is not a large island, the dense fores is easy to get lost in.

Keep in mind that restrooms won't be found on-site, which is something to consider if you plan to spend a full day in the sun. You'll find the waters off-shore to be fit for snorkeling, so grab your equipment if you're hoping to find some interesting marine life.

The beach is wonderful, but the surrounding area has a lot to offer, too. Look for it on the West coast of Isla de Culebra. It is close to Flemenco Tank, which is seen a mile and a half away, and it is one of a few the area's interesting attractions.
