A peaceful beach a bit out of the way, Playa Manzanilla is a popular choice for people looking just to get away for a while. Visitors will be met with a long beach with views of the ocean and some boats gently rocking off shore.
Situated on the southeastern coast of the island of Isla de Culebra, You should consider dropping by regardless of whether you're staying in the immediate vicinity. The beaches in Puerto Rico aren't usually known for their peace and quiet, but Playa Manzanilla is less exposed than the others, making it just the right spot for vacationers who'd like a less hectic scene, but one that's not completely empty.
The first step for anyone wanting to visit the beach is to get to the island of Culebra. Once on the island, it is a little far, but an easy drive to the south east.
Playa Manzanilla is marked by the line of tropical trees behind the beach and the calm Caribbean waters that are thanks to the sand bar a bit in front of the cove.
Unfortunately, you won't find any public restrooms along this coastline, though you may be able to use the facilities at a nearby business.
The beach is wonderful, but the surrounding area has a lot to offer, too. Look for it on the South East coast of Isla de Culebra. It's located near, which is one of a number of attractions in the region.
