The only way to reach the beach is via boat or seaplane. It is extremly popular though, and it will be easy to find a tour or charter that will take you here.

Amenities and Ambiance

Making up a cove on the small uninhabited island of Culebrita, Playa Tortuga has some very calm waters. Turn around, and you will be able to hike a while in the center of the island until coming to other beaches.

Unfortunately, public restrooms aren't available.

Playa Tortuga is always a lovely side-trip when you're in the area. Look for it on the North East coast of Culebrita.
