As you can probably tell, while you can swim, hike, and sail on this beach, the major draw is the sights.

Located on the island of Culebrita, Playa Tortuga is on the North East coast of the island, You should think about stopping by even if you are not staying nearby. This beach is not just a pleasant attraction, it is one of the more unique and quiet beaches in Puerto Rico. While Playa Tortuga may be a little more trouble to reach, it provides a rare chance to escape crowds of tourists.

How to Access The Beach
The only way to reach the beach is via boat or seaplane. It is extremly popular though, and it will be easy to find a tour or charter that will take you here.

Amenities and Ambiance

Making up a cove on the small uninhabited island of Culebrita, Playa Tortuga has some very calm waters. Turn around, and you will be able to hike a while in the center of the island until coming to other beaches.

Unfortunately, restrooms will not be available here.

If you find that you favor coasts that bring guests an angelic environment, then a good choice for you is Playa Tortuga; it is found in a less urban section of Culebrita.
