Because the sands of Westpunt are strewn with pebbles, this beach isn't particualrly good for sunbathing or walking without shoes. The waters here are calm enough for swimming, but don't have the best conditions for snorkeling.
When you're coming from the center of Westpunt, go a little more than a mile (approximately two kilometers) north to find this beach.

1 | Playa Kalki
At the northwestern tip of the island, this is easily one of the best spots on Curacao for snorkeling and diving. With its limestone cliffs (Kalki means limestone in Papiamentu), it's also one of the prettiest. There are a number of shaded areas, a snack bar, and dive shop for those looking to relax on beach instead of, or after, exploring underwater.
Make your way northwest for a short distance (about three quarters of a kilometer) from the center of Westpunt to find this beach.

2 | Playa Forti
Loacted on the islands northwestern most tip, you'll find stunning panoramic views, especially from above the beach. Visited mostly by locals, you'll find some neat little restaurants snack bars, and a couple huts for shade at this laid-back destination.
This beach is 0.5 miles (0.7 km) southeast of Playa Kalki.

3 | Playa Piskado
This is a beach frequented in large part by local families, though snorkelers and divers often appreciate this quiet spot too. The beach is small, but rather picturesque, and watching the fishing boats when they're out with their nets can be interesting.
Playa Forti is located a quarter mile (a quarter kilometer) to the north of this beach.

This is certainly one of the more isolated locations you're going to find on Curacao, but it might not be for too much longer as there are development plans for the not-too-distant future. So if you want to see it in all its natural glory, there's no better time than now.
Make your way 2.0 miles (3.3 km) to the south from the center of Westpunt to reach this beach.

2 | Playa Kenepa
This beach is certainly one that will take your breath away the moment you step foot on its shores. It is easily one of the most well-known beaches on the island, frequented by both locals and tourist, and for one main reason: it's stunningly beautiful.
This beach is located just 0.7 miles (1.2 km) from Playa Jeremi.

To escape from the sweltering island sun, beachgoers can take refuge beneath concrete huts for shelter. The waters here are excellent for swimming and snorkeling, which is some of the best in the area.
The center of Lagun is a quarter mile (a half kilometer) to the north of this beach.

2 | Playa Santa Cruz
Playa Santa Cruz is somewhat rare in that it is not very commercialized and still has some good facilities. There is volleyball and, like much of Curacao, quality opportunities for snorkeling and diving.
Interested guests can find this beach within easy traveling distance of Westpunt, less than a mile (a kilometer and a half) south-southeast of Playa Lagun.

1 | Boca Santa Cruz
With a few huts set back from the water, restroom facilities, and a beach bar/restaurant, this is a great spot to escape the crowds while still still being able to take advantage of nearby amenities. There's also the opportunity to be taken off shore to one of a number of private, secluded beaches by the water taxi that leaves from here.
Travel west-southwest for approximately three and a half miles (approximately six kilometers) from the center of Barber to get to this beach.

A rustic space with nary a crowd, this beach is popular among divers and snorkelers.

A pristine beach that is well loved by families with young children and watersports enthusiasts alike, this beach is often noted as one of the best on the island.
From the center of St. Willibrordus, go approximately two miles (approximately three kilometers) west-northwest to locate this beach.

Tourists flock to this beach, and for good reason. Diving and snorkeling are great here, and there is an on-location dive equipment shop available.
Found within traveling range of Piscadera, this beach is 0.8 miles (1.2 km) southeast of Cas Abao Beach.

There are several facilities available to patrons of Daibooibaai beach including deck chairs, which are available during the weekends, and wooden umbrellas. These popular do shores tend to get crowded with locals at times, especially on Sundays.

In the old fishing village of St. Michiel lies a small beach in the northwest corner of town. The beach has a pleasant atmosphere, and is within easy reach of the restaurants and shops of this charming area.

On this small island - a half mile from tip to tip - the beach runs around the entire perimeter. The western section is more popular with visitors as this is where you'll find the islands only facilities.
