1 | Westpunt
Because the sands of Westpunt are strewn with pebbles, this beach isn't particualrly good for sunbathing or walking without shoes. The waters here are calm enough for swimming, but don't have the best conditions for snorkeling.
Travel a little more than a mile (approximately two kilometers) to the north from the center of Westpunt to get to this beach.

1 | Playa Kalki
At the northwestern tip of the island, this is easily one of the best spots on Curacao for snorkeling and diving. With its limestone cliffs (Kalki means limestone in Papiamentu), it's also one of the prettiest. There are a number of shaded areas, a snack bar, and dive shop for those looking to relax on beach instead of, or after, exploring underwater.
You can find this beach in the northwestern part of Westpunt, 0.4 miles (0.6 km) from the center of Westpunt.

2 | Playa Forti
Loacted on the islands northwestern most tip, you'll find stunning panoramic views, especially from above the beach. Visited mostly by locals, you'll find some neat little restaurants snack bars, and a couple huts for shade at this laid-back destination.
Playa Kalki is a half mile (three quarters of a kilometer) to the northwest of this beach.

3 | Playa Piskado
This is a beach frequented in large part by local families, though snorkelers and divers often appreciate this quiet spot too. The beach is small, but rather picturesque, and watching the fishing boats when they're out with their nets can be interesting.
Situated in the middle of Westpunt, this beach is located a quarter mile (a quarter kilometer) from Playa Forti.

1 | Playa Jeremi
This is certainly one of the more isolated locations you're going to find on Curacao, but it might not be for too much longer as there are development plans for the not-too-distant future. So if you want to see it in all its natural glory, there's no better time than now.
This beach can be found approximately two miles (approximately three and a half kilometers) to the south of the center of Westpunt.

2 | Playa Kenepa
This beach is certainly one that will take your breath away the moment you step foot on its shores. It is easily one of the most well-known beaches on the island, frequented by both locals and tourist, and for one main reason: it's stunningly beautiful.
Interested guests can find this beach just 0.7 miles (1.2 km) north of Playa Jeremi.

1 | Playa Lagun
To escape from the sweltering island sun, beachgoers can take refuge beneath concrete huts for shelter. The waters here are excellent for swimming and snorkeling, which is some of the best in the area.
Interested guests will be able to find this beach just 0.3 miles (0.5 km) south of the center of Lagun.

2 | Playa Santa Cruz
Playa Santa Cruz is somewhat rare in that it is not very commercialized and still has some good facilities. There is volleyball and, like much of Curacao, quality opportunities for snorkeling and diving.
Playa Lagun is located less than a mile (a kilometer and a half) north-northwest of this beach.

With a few huts set back from the water, restroom facilities, and a beach bar/restaurant, this is a great spot to escape the crowds while still still being able to take advantage of nearby amenities. There's also the opportunity to be taken off shore to one of a number of private, secluded beaches by the water taxi that leaves from here.
Vacationers can find this beach approximately three and a half miles (approximately six kilometers) to the west-southwest of the center of Barber.

A rustic space with nary a crowd, this beach is popular among divers and snorkelers.

A pristine beach that is well loved by families with young children and watersports enthusiasts alike, this beach is often noted as one of the best on the island.
Head approximately two miles (approximately three kilometers) west-northwest from the center of St. Willibrordus to reach this beach.

2 | Playa Porto Mari
Tourists flock to this beach, and for good reason. Diving and snorkeling are great here, and there is an on-location dive equipment shop available.

There are several facilities available to patrons of Daibooibaai beach including deck chairs, which are available during the weekends, and wooden umbrellas. These popular do shores tend to get crowded with locals at times, especially on Sundays.
Situated within traveling range from Piscadera, this beach is located 0.5 miles (0.8 km) south of Playa Porto Mari.

In the middle of the island sits Varsenbaai, a peaceful spot looking out onto a small bay. The waters off shore are remarkably clear and, protected from heavy waves and currents, very gentle.

In the old fishing village of St. Michiel lies a small beach in the northwest corner of town. The beach has a pleasant atmosphere, and is within easy reach of the restaurants and shops of this charming area.

At Blauwbaai you can find plenty of places with shade for refuge from the sultry island sun. There are also great facilities like a changing area on these shores.
Situated on the western edge of the vicinity of Willemstad, this beach is three and a half miles (five and a half kilometers) west-northwest of the center of Otrabanda.
