The once Dutch Caribbean Island has a semi-arid climate, but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't pack a sweater. Evening lows in the 70s are common; couple that with the tradewinds, and many visitors feel under-dressed in tank tops and shorts.
As you are planning your Curacao vacation, take a look at the chart below. The listing of average high and low temperatures will help you to not only determine which month of the year you want to visit, but will help guide you in what clothing to pack. Take notice that the coolest months of the year are January and February, while July through September experience the highest temperatures.
|Average High and Low Temperature|
The average daily temperatures follow a similar pattern throughout the year. Early morning is the coolest time of day, and temperatures rise by about four degrees in late morning. Early afternoon will usually be about two degrees hotter than late morning, making it the hottest time of day. From then, temperatures begin to drop, until they are once again similar to those experienced first thing in the morning.
